Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Program to ALEAP

Access to Capital for Women: Capturing Opportunities to Grow Your Business

We all know businesses need money to grow. But figuring out how, when and where to get that money can be daunting. Especially as a female founder in India where only a quarter of the women-owned businesses in India get the capital they need to grow.

That’s why Acumen and Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Initiative have teamed up to offer Access to Capital for Women: Capturing Opportunities to Grow Your Business,a free online course that demystifies finance and prepares you to confidently go to funders and get the capital you need to build the business you always envisioned.

In this 5-week course you’ll learnhow to interpret financial statements in order to understand your capital needs to grow, what types of capital are available to you, and the process for connecting what you need with what is available. You’ll also hear from female founders, right here in India, on how they applied these strategies to unlock capital and grow their businesses.

Finally, you’ll use excel templates to develop growth projections and build your case to convince capital providers to fund your business and more importantly invest in you!

You’ll love this courseif you are a woman starting or running a business who wants to understand what kind of external capital is available to you to grow your business.
