Chamber and Advisory Network and Cooperation for Women Entrepreneurs
The
CHANCE project aims to strengthen and empower women women entrepreneurs to fulfil their role in the economic environment of Southern Africa and South Asia. Facilitators in this process - women entrepreneur organizations, SME advisory and vocational training institutions, chambers of commerce and trade fair organizations - will be supported both as business intermediaries and in their endeavour to professionalise their services.
The regional approach fosters the exchange of experiences and the setting up networks, and it supports the institutionalised regional cooperation between the
South Asia Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) and the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC)
CHANCE Winter School
The CHANCE Winter School is InWEnt’s top range development programme for Business Women Associations middle and senior management. It offers 5 days of intensive training and networking in an informal and stimulating environment.
The Winter School is organised around a series of core courses for all participants on broad issues faced by Business Women Associations and other business organisations, and optional courses, which reflect specific interests and needs within the Business Women Associations network.
As a participant, you can design your own tailor-made programme, to ensure that the Winter School is a worthwhile investment for your personal development and for the development of your organisation.
This is the first time that InWEnt brings the Winter School to the SAARC region. The event will be organised in close co-operation with our local partner SAARC
Chamber Women Entrepreneurs Council (SCWEC), who is hosting the event.
The programme will be targeted specifically to the Business Women Associations and other business organisations in the region and will be tailored to the specific environment of the SAARC and SADC regions.
The programme is primarily targeted at business organisations from the following countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka from the SAARC region and Angola Botswana Lesotho Malawi Mozambique South Africa, Swaziland Tanzania Zambia Zimbabwe from the SADC region
